My wife is a little camera shy but that's okay, she's still my everything. One thing she does that saves us a ton of money is the way she buys a lot of our kids clothes. She loves buying and selling at consignment stores. She takes the old clothes that our kids have outgrown and sells them, she then in return has money to buy more really nice used clothes from the same consignment store.

After a slight hiatus for a few weeks because of a busy schedule, vlogs are back! Here are a few highlights from the last few weeks.

Hutch's first day of school! (Part 1 of 2). Can anyone else commiserate about unloading the car/putting food away as one of the worst chores ever? Just me?
While I'm at it, here's part 2 from Hutch's first day of school! Good news: recess was a hit. Also a hit? Using cheap condiment cups to hold small fruit, veggies, and snacks for the kids! They have lids which basically makes them cup-sized perfection. They are in the paper goods aisle of most stores, and you'll thank me later. Trust me.

Mory wants to tell you all about our...LUNCH. ( #Ugh.) Lunch is so crazy at our house I basically feed my kids kid food and focus on forcing them to eat all the healthy stuff they don't want to eat for breakfast and dinner. So here's a quick and easy lunch! Could be better, could be worse. But at least we try to eat at home instead of going through the drive through so that's got to count for something, right?? #illTakeIt. Heading to Comic Con. My parents are flying in from out of town and we are meeting them for dinner, but its not for several hours. Normally we would've gone through a drive through for the kids to tide them over, spending at least $12-$15. Oh, no, no! Heaven knows I haven't been the best at our vlogs so I'm going to let go of my video editing persnickety "all or nothing" nature and will pleasure you with this #PageDanceParty ditty from last night to show how nights often go in our house. No, my house isn't clean. Like ever. No, my kids aren't sitting and eating like they should be. And yes, all of my children look homeless. But I've let go of the unattainable perfect image I had in my head of how lovely evenings should be in Pleasantville...and embraced ours for what they are. Rowdy, loud, and joyful. What 3 words describe YOUR house??
