The Institute’s fall conference was built around the topic of segregation and inequality, and examined the role of several related issues, including disparities in housing and education.

After President Neel Kashkari's welcome, the first panel was introduced by Aaron Sojourner of the University of Minnesota. On the panel was Kendra Bischoff of Cornell University, Steven Durlauf of the University of Wisconsin, and Lawrence Katz of Harvard University.
